The wonders of technology have officially reached the wedding world. There are now all kinds of incredible tech companies out there devoted to making your wedding a little easier and a little more memorable.

Photography is one of the key areas of the wedding industry that has seen a huge advancement in technology. From drones that will capture truly spectacular photos of your wedding from above, to GoPro bouquets containing a hidden camera that will film the entire event from the bride’s perspective, you won’t forget a single detail of your big day.

One of our favourite bit of photography tech has to be the photo booth. Guests love a photo booth at a wedding, it’s a great way to get some wonderfully silly shots of you and your guests relaxing and having a great time. But even the photo booth has had a tech makeover. Bella Booths and Unified Events are two local companies offering a photo booth service with a twist.

Bella Booths have got the answer to the ultimate selfie- and your guests are going to LOVE it. Add some fun and uniqueness to your wedding day with their Magic Mirror photo booth, available for hire in Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. The Mirror has an in-built camera and touch-screen technology, meaning guests can not only snap the perfect selfie, but they can also customise the image with comments, drawings and animations.

Another digital photo booth company we love is Unified Events. These guys specialise in a smartphone printing service, meaning your guests can print out their photos from the day straight away. Plus, any photos they print will be sent to you digitally the day after your wedding, meaning you won’t have to hassle your guests for their photos. Now, that’s smart!

You can choose to have the smartphone printing service alone, or hire Unified Events’ stylish, open air photo booth to go with it.

We caught up with the female founder of Unified Events, Naomi Charlton, to see just what inspired her to start Unified Events and how her brilliant service can transform your special day.

What made you choose to start this business?

“We found that whenever we went to a wedding, birthday or party at the end everyone would be sending around their photos to each other. Often these photos were some of the best, some of the most hilarious as they really captured the essence of the night. But we soon realised that not everyone, especially the host of the event, got to see ALL the amazing pictures people would take on their phones. Wedding photographers are amazing but they have a bigger job to do and can’t quite catch every moment of the event. We thought (me and my partner in crime, my Husband Loybert), that there must be an easier way for the host to get all the photos from their event, without having to nag guests afterwards. It was from this conversation that Unified Events was born!”

So, what does Unified Events offer?
“We offer a stylish open air photo-booth as well as a Smartphone printing service for all events. We also offer some beautiful personalised buntings for the backdrop to truly make them unique to you. Our Smartphone printing services is very unique and gives Brides and Grooms the chance to receive so many more pictures from their event, including all the crazy selfies and snapchat filtered photos you could ask for! The photos printed are also shown through our projector for all guests to view and enjoy at the wedding.”
